Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Community Living Coordinator will manage three residential settings for adults with developmental disabilities and be responsible for overseeing 15-20 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure that individuals receive the support they need. The Community Living Coordinator will also work with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate treatment and help individuals with disabilities to achieve goals related to independent living, employment, social experiences, and community participation.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, health or human services (preferred), or equivalent years of experience
Experience in the developmental disabilities field and/or supervisory experience (strongly preferred)
Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in a supportive and professional manner
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve identified goals
Desire to lead and coach employees
Current driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed
Base salary
$50,000/yr - $55,000/yr
Bonus offered for on-call responsibilities. |
