Description: This presentation will address why it is essential to have a crisis management and communication plan in place, what should be in that plan, and how to implement the plan should something happen. Topics covered will include the Five P’s of Crisis Management, and how to successfully communicate during a crisis for employees, clients and the organization come out on the other side in the best place possible.

About the Presenter, Gary Jones: Gary Jones has been an attorney for over three decades and has spent most of the last 20 years focusing on the needs of facilities and agencies in the human services field as the Founder of The Jones Law Firm in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in 1982, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Law in 1985. Gary holds the CHC and CHPC certifications. In addition to an active law practice, he founded MCA to help providers through the maze of compliance regulations that seems to become more complicated every year so they can do what they do best, take care of people. He is the author of “Do The Right Thing – a road map to building an effective compliance program.”
