  Setting Goals and Expectations
  All good performance begins with clear expectations and goals. Without these, employees seldom reach their potential. Unfortunately, many managers have not been properly prepared to execute this key function proficiently. This session will focus on how to create standards of performance properly linked to goals and expectations. Often it is not the work the team needs to do but the dynamics of how that team works together to get things done. Team building is knowing how to help individuals work as a cohesive group where all members feel invested in the direction and accomplishments of the team. All members have input towards developing goals and defining the steps to take to reach those goals. Everyone is able to work together to achieve the group's objectives. Even though companies want all of their employees to have team building skills, they are particularly important for managers and supervisors that oversee groups of employees. Participants will build upon existing skills to:
