The IPG Floating Coordinator (hereafter FSC) will assist and support local Service Coordinators and QA team members The FSC will perform a multitude of coordinator functions as requested by local programs and under the direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer.
The ideal candidate for the Floating Service Coordinator position will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate well, and be a self-starter. This position is part of the quality assurance team, it involves traveling throughout four counties. IPG offices are located in Mt Pleasant, Burlington, Ottumwa, and Oskaloosa. Hours are full-time and may be subject to change depending on circumstances that may make it necessary.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Be a resource for questions, concerns and problem solving
• Relate to others in the manner of a facilitator
• Complete and keep up-to-date required charts and paperwork
• Perform quality audits of Medical Records
• Site QA’s and Community member calls, completion and filing of reports as needed
• ICP / Progress, SIS, Inter-Rai Interdisciplinary Team Meetings
• Participate in the Development of the Individual Program Plan in conjunction with the served individual and their interdisciplinary team
• Provide Direct Services as needed
• Provide support to Billing Coordinator, HR Coordinator, Medicaid Compliance Managers, and others as assigned by COO
Experience Requirements:
• Working knowledge of Home-Based Habilitation and Waiver Services’ Standards
• Detailed understanding of Medicaid criteria for documentation
• Ability to write proficiently
• Ability to develop and write person centered service plans
• Ability to give constructive, respectful feedback, and partner with a variety of individuals to provide quality services
Educational Requirements:
• A High School diploma and a minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals in the served population.
• A four-year college degree in a human service related field may be substituted for the two years of experience.
Salary: $35,880.00 / based upon experience working with adults with disabilities.
