First Resources Corporation is looking to fill the position of a Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Major responsibilities will include:

Data Management & Tracking

a) Acts as the responsible party for applicable database and electronic documentation software.
b) Develops, tests, and implements tools used to collect, analyze, and report data.
c) Tracks major incident reports and trends them for outcome reporting.
d) Coordinates survey completions for all agency services and reports results in the outcome report.
e) Gathers and stores data for outcome reporting.


a) Provides oversight over review of service notes to ensure they meet standards. Reviews notes as needed.
b) Completes file reviews reports as needed for quality and completeness.
c) Turns in audit reports to supervisor and directors for follow up.
d) Acts as the point of contact for audit requests from third parties working in conjunction with department directors. Coordinates on-site audits.

Quality Improvement Planning

a) Assists departments in completing QIP
b) Collects completed QIP from departments and files.
c) Participates in QA meetings and other committees. Oversees QA meetings.
d) Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
e) Helps review and update Risk Management Plans, etc.


a) Acts as the compliance officer for the agency
b) Acts as the HIPAA and Privacy Officer for the agency
c) Completes a final outcome report finalized by a set deadline.
d) Oversees accreditation of programs ensuring agency files paperwork for licensure/certification timely.
e) Researches rules and regulations to assure agency’ compliance.
f) Keeps agency up to date with changes in Compliance and Quality Improvement requirements from accrediting and licensing bodies.
g) Works with responsible department to complete Provider Self Assessment in a timely manner.
h) Updates and maintains QA manuals as needed.

Qualifications: Prior QA experience is required.

Education: Preference of a BA or BS from an accredited college or university and/or a combination of education and related experience, which totals three years.

Experience with industry-specific service documentation and support plans is essential. Proficient in computer use including Microsoft Office suite and databases is required. The ability to clearly communicate in oral and written fashion is required. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines is required. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills are required.
